I guess not really a MOD but I will put this here.

Did my first oil change at 1600 miles the other day. Did not like the shenanigans I had to go through with a long funnel so I decided to design and 3D print my own with a bayonet/threaded mount that matches the oil cap and a 45° angle. Printing a flexible gasket as we speak to hold it in place better.

A few years back another guy designed one of here, I'm sure the thread is around here somewhere. I used his and printed my own. Yours is a much taller design, looks good.

before I designed this, I looked and looked and never found one. I looked all over. Sometimes, its more fun to design your own anyway.

I'm buying if your selling.  :)

I use a Red Line oil ROUND bottle with the bottom cut off. Works slick. 😉

Thank you. I would never sell anything I make. I will share the design file for free though.

In fact, I have already shared it on Thingiverse. I have a bunch of things I have designed that are posted there.

It might not have been in it's own thread, 737mechanic made the underseat floor vent extenders and posted about the oil funnel.

That's actually very interesting. He put in slots for the notches but didn't go the next step to allow you to lock it in though. Probably works fine and still way better than a normal funnel. I am guessing the LS has the same opening than  the LT. I haven't had an LS engine for 6 years.

His would be a lot faster to print. Mine took 17 hours because of all my overhangs and I need support added. His was only 6. I made mine very thick which may have not been needed.

Always kinda cool to see how other people do things.

I have special threaded funnels for every car I own. This is the first one I designed.
