Driving 2019 6.2 with 10 speed in L9

Why when driving my vehicle in Drive/using all 10 speeds/gears, does my vehicle transmission have weird things happening? When I drive it in L9 it works flawlessly. What’s up with that? I had the latest and greatest T-fluid installed but when in Drive the transmission operates like.

What is the latest and greatest t-fluid?  These transmissions are very sensitive to what type of fluid you use.

1500 transmissions call for 

10 speed uses Dexron ULV

8 speed uses Dexron HP

6 speed uses Desron VI 

 

I'm curious too.

What are you using?

Probably not the transmission but the Fuel management, which is inactive in L9.

I have to agree with you. M 23 5.3 Denali at low speeds under like 35 feels like a slight transmission shudder when cylinders deactivate. If I just put it L. at that speed its usually L6. Starting in L6  transmission shifts smooth as silk.  Looks like a 3.0L Duramax is in my near future.
