Hello, I have 2017 Silverdo, 72,000. This past Jan. Just had the lifter stick which had to get the left side redone. Now on my way home from work I pulled onto my road, put in park. Got out to get mail got back in put in drive started going up a hill and it seemed like it lost power. I put it in reverse backed back down tried again and noticed when it went to go into 2nd the rpms raced then it caught second so I was able to get it to my home. Any ideas? Or are we leaning towards a rebuild? Never had any issues with granny until that moment. Now it does it almost the time. I haven't drove it out of my driveway since. I just want to get it fixed so I can get out from it and get a different truck.

Was the fluid red? Or a a brown color? Can you see any sparkling in it.
