Stainless/Chrome running boards

Looking for nice running boards to go on my new 24 LTZ.  Looking for Chrome or polished stainless. Not looking for an offload looking Nerf bar. Something more along a luxury line.

Looks like there are a ton of them out there with many different names.  Lots of complaints about cheap and flimsy mounting brackets.  I am looking for something that will hold up to Iowa salt roads. Some of the more expensive ones on real truck have got horrible reviews on this site.

 

Would like to see others pictures and hear about your experience. I need to re-buy all the accessories I had on my 17 High Country. Bed cover, bed rug, running boards and appears I am going to be needing one of those auto stop eliminators and 1 1/2 rear shackle drops.

I have a pair OEM off my 2019 Denali

These are the 'factory' available ones that I have.

They can also be ordered the 'accessories' on GMC or Chev website or a dealer. 

There are versions for crew/short box and crew/standard box.

They also have them available with black finish.

They work with the mudflaps. The combo provides paint protection and an entry step.

Those are probably at top of my list. On thing I like about GM is I can buy parts. I replaced some of the plastic pieces on my

2017 with readily available parts.

 

Only downside is price. Just trying to find better deal. Like OEM takeoffs at dealer.

GM has 10% off on their online store, plus you can stack your My GM Rewards points you should have got when you bought the truck, assuming your salesperson was a good one and set you up.  Last month was a heck of a deal they had like 20% off anything over $500 or something like that.  Shop Accessories for Chevrolet Vehicles

I will watch the store for deals but if I remember correctly those running boards were about $850 and even with 10% off its still more than I want to spend.  In the end I probably will anyway.

My sales guy did set me up but the rewards did not amount to much. I rolled those into GM data which only covered about 6 months.

Bought mine on Ebay as OEM take-offs for peanuts they look excellent and are durable.

I have been checking Ebay myself. They have a new set on there for $600 shipped. That is my best option at this point. They are crew cab length but wondering if I wheel to wheel would look better because I have a short box and they are not much longer anyway.

I gave $345 for mine that was Pre-Biden..  but if you are patient you will find a deal I am sure. Mine are crew cab length.

Haha,  so current economy is $3045.00

I am just going to keep watching.  Do you have a short box?  I cant imagine there is much room between the back of yours and the fender well if you do.

short box, about 2" from the front mud flap and the same from the front of the rear fender protection plastic, maybe a slight but more distance on the rear than the front but close to the same

OK, Thats shorter distance than I would have guessed. So probably does not matter which version I get.
