I tripped and fell down the other day at college, and hurt my knee. Some guys started laughing at me so I said "Shut up man, I feel like Nancy Kerrigan" and apparently that made them laugh more. Ah the stupid things we say.

One of my memorable moments was at dinner years ago when my mom made something new or something I was looking forward to. She and my dad were rambling on about something, so I replied, "Quiet, I'm trying to taste"

I'm 6'8"...once I was getting on an airplane with my parents, the plane had TV's haging from the ceiling in the isle....as I was walking down my mom said..."Hey don't hit your head".... I turned around while still walking and said "I am used to ducking"....when I turned around I hit my head on a TV and some people started to snicker......then we walked farther down the isle.....I turned around to say something to my mom, and hit another TV with my head....this time they didn't try to hold back their laughter. :flag:

After a big snowstorm during college, my friend and I saw my roommate come out the back door of the campus snack bar. We waited at the bottom of the steep, snowy steps as my roommate came down all twenty-or-so steps in 1 step. He gathered himself up out of a crumpled heap at the bottom of the steps and waited for us to stop laughing to say "Thanks, but no, I wasn't hurt."

It's fast to run down a sand dune, but you get down even faster if you trip and roll down to the bottom. But then you have to clean the sand out of your hair and ears. And in my case, nose too.

I had just started 7th grade and the foolball coach said I'd need a 'jock'. At that age (back in 1956) you always went shopping with your parents. So, I'm looking at shirts and this cute girl comes up, picks up a shirt and says, "this would look good." I started talking with her and a few seconds later I hear my mom calling, "Oh Eggbert (not really my name) they have jockey straps here, what size should I get for you?"

Well, you get the picture :seeya:
