The PN is 85569359 for the ZR2 skidplate. You will need to drill & tap 2 holes in the Xmember for the rear mounting bolts. Use either 3/8"-16 x 1" or M10 x 1.5 x 25 mm bolts. The tap drill for the SAE/Imperial bolts is 5/16". Use a 8.5 mm drill when drilling for the metric fasteners. Be careful when tapping & torquing the bolts as the metal thickness is only 1/8" or 3 mm thick. I'm guessing the ZR2s use a different frame as I imagine those holes would be pierced & tapped when the Xmember is produced. 1

Any modifications to the front mounting crossmember or just the rear one?

Draining would require removing the plate I assume although with probem vehicles ( read, all skidplate bolts rusted in place ) I've resorted to draining a transfer case onto the skid plate if it had water drain holes, makes a nice mess but better than not changing the oil. That factory skid plate is something else, its little more than a gravel road stone defection plate and the only plus is that its not in the way of servicing the transfer case for an oil change.
revrnd Posted July 24, 2025 Author Posted July 24, 2025 There are 3 holes pierced in the ZR2 skidplate towards the rear. 1
