What's the part number for that skid plate?  Looks to be more robust than the cantilevered one.

The PN is 85569359 for the ZR2 skidplate. You will need to drill & tap 2 holes in the Xmember for the rear mounting bolts. Use either 3/8"-16 x 1" or M10 x 1.5 x 25 mm bolts. The tap drill for the SAE/Imperial bolts is 5/16". Use a 8.5 mm drill when drilling for the metric fasteners. Be careful when tapping & torquing the bolts as the metal thickness is only 1/8" or 3 mm thick.

I'm guessing the ZR2s use a different frame as I imagine those holes would be pierced & tapped when the Xmember is produced.

Thanks! Any modifications to the front mounting crossmember or just the rear one?

No. You just use 2 of the 3 mounting bolts.

Are you able to access the fill/check plug ok with the new skid plate in place ?. Draining would require removing the plate I assume although with probem vehicles ( read, all skidplate bolts rusted in place ) I've resorted to draining a transfer case onto the skid plate if it had water drain holes, makes a nice mess but better than not changing the oil.

That factory skid plate is something else, its little more than a gravel road stone defection plate and the only plus is that its not in the way of servicing the transfer case for an oil change.

There are 3 holes pierced in the ZR2 skidplate towards the rear.

Finally got around to installing the roof marker lights

Talking to a friend that had to put lights on her new Dodge, because the dealer messed up the order. She was saying, 3/4 tons should come w/ them standard LOL
