Are you running a stock exhaust/muffler?

Twist it open and tighten a hose clamp around it. Did that on a '15 GMC yukon after the first month.

Still on there today.

It probably stuck open I would spray it down with WD40 and try to spin it after It’s free you should be able to turn it with your fingers but it's defintely stuck.

I had it removed on my wifes GMC. You would be surprised how much of a restriction it is in the pipe.

k, hear u on the rusted’ or stuck’ perspective and applying WD40. Clearly spraying on the outside of the valve when the exhaust system is cold is the way...concerned the  residue of the WD40 on a hot exhaust system.

OK did you get it free and able to spin it? Yeah don't take a chance spraying it on a hot exhaust.
