Any luck on getting the hyper flash to stop? If so, what did you do to get it to stop.

Was told I need to get “box delete” programming from the dealer (basically turns off the hyperflash), but I just sent a email to WAMS see if they can tune my bcm to turn hyperflash off but haven’t gotten a response yet. (Hope WAMS can help) not trying to leave truck at the dealership for few days.

I wonder if another way of looking at this would be to have an updated cable harness that would include the appropriate resistors or maybe even return signal back to the BCM in order for the hyper flash to not even occur which would no longer require programming.

That’s above my technical knowledge , but yeah that would be nice to have a resistor but I hate replacing them so I’d opp for the programming either way

If u mean will they fit yes, will need conversion harness and the 2024 OEM LED 2500 truck harnesses (one for each taillight). Phil Gamboa had his hyperflash deleted on his truck and they work perfectly WAMS help him with his I believe (mine has a hyperflash still was told I had to have the dealer program mine but I haven’t taken it)

custom harness below plugs to the body harness and OEM harnesses plug to the custom harness , the yellow goes to the power wire on trailer plug

thought I had everything but was missing the taillight harness’s

I think @pgamboa was working on one, but I got mine from Gen5dyi til he gets his done

I got the hd taillights installed on my 2024 Silverado 1500 and got my harness from gen5 diy. Everything works except I had hyperflash and my turn signal didn’t work if I had my foot on the brake. I got it programmed at the dealer and the hyper flash went away but if one of the turn signals is on and I push the brake the opposite side starts flashing too as if the hazards are on. Once I let off the brake the turn signals work as they should. Could this be a problem with the gen5 diy harness? Has pgamboa made a harness yet?

I know they sell one on eBay that works perfectly but have run two wires to the bcm, I thinking ima swap mine with this one I’ve heard few people say they are good no programming needed

Have you swapped over to this one yet or gotten the program at the dealer. I got another harness built by gen 5 diy and it fixed my problem only thing is it’s doing the hyperflash when pushing the brakes only.
