EGR Triming

I am going to bypass the coolant on my TB and figure while not trim the EGR tube while I am at it. I have seen some of you with the EGR tube trimed down so is it as easy as it sounds? And could you notice any power on responce increace? Any Info, Instuctions, ect. would be helpfull. Thanks

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
