62.62 for 8 quarts supercar 0w-40 and pf63 filter is what i found plus tax and shipping.
34.32 for 8 quarts mobil one 0w-20 and pf63 or ac.delco is 50.94 for oil and filter so i understand why price at dealerships have increased but my dealer that just did recall (passed) said oil change through them would now be $200. I never have had a dealer change the oils and this increase seems ridiculous as they can get better pricing for bulk.
i now have 2 cars and 1 truck that require the supercar oil imagine if the dealer did the servicing on these 3?

One last question and I will let this thread die. Had my recall completed, passed testing, oil & filter change, and new oil cap. Just missing the owners manual insert. My dealer knows nothing about the insert, just gave me a print out showing the recall was completed.
Does anyone know if that insert is anywhere on the web so I can print a copy?  Or does anyone have a copy that they are willing to scan and post?

Any assistance appreciated.

Now that I read a bit deeper it does not matter about the insert as all the manual says is to check the oil cap for what oil to use.
Sorry for dredging this post back up.

I currently have a connecting rod sticking out of the engine compartment on my 2021 Silverado 1500 6.2 liter.  After some research and finding out that there was a recall I made some phone calls.  Just for them to tell me that my truck was not part of the recall for the 2021-2024 Silverado 6.2-liter trucks that have a recall due to crankshaft and connecting rod issues.   Any help would be much appreciated.  FYI the truck has 60k miles on it.

Were you told why yours was not a part of the recall?  You may want to call GM customer service.

Here is a link to the recall info:

Good luck.
