24 Silverado software update fan on windows down

I got an update saying full fan when windows remote roll down from fob. I did the update and thus far doesn’t work. Anyone know anything about this latest software update? Was a week or two ago.

Yea that isn’t helpful. It still doesn’t work.

Does the remote roll-down with fob work on your truck? 

 

If so, have you tried it when the interior was uncomfortably hot?

Yes, yes. Fan doesn’t work. Windows do. I have yet to see anyone say they try and it worked. Typical poor GM software I guess.

The interior was uncomfortably hot when you tried it?

Yes. Texas. Summer.

Maybe it has to be uber hot? Who knows. Doesn’t work. No one has confirmed it worked anywhere i asked.

Have you checked in the settings to see if you have to turn an option on?  Does the climate control system need to be in Auto?  

 

Just a couple of thoughts....

Didn’t try auto. No setting exists that I found. Auto has no difference to any other related function working including auto ac with remote start.
