I have a 2023 Silverado 1500 with the 3.0 Duramax. It's currently at 40k miles and has been flawless until 6 weeks ago. The check engine light came on. Later that evening, it went off and stayed off until 2 weeks ago...same thing, came on but later that evening went off. Fast forward to this morning, remote start wouldn't work, so got in the truck and started it and sure enough check engine light was on. Took it by dealership and they want to essentially explore... Well, I just ran a errand and it's off again. So, anyone experience anything like this? With it being out of warranty, I dont feel comfortable with them exploring the problem. They are telling me it's a chafed wire.?. Around the same time of first check engine light, my compass quit showing up in driver display. Also, my clock started reading 7 minutes slow and its on auto time. Any insight is appreciated.

here is the pod sheet from the third time the cel came on then off.

I haven't noticed it leaking, but I'll sure start watching.

Only 40k, but this isn't covered under 100k.

Had diesel diagnostic done today and its the onstar module that needs replacing and not covered under 100k power train warranty.
