2015 Sierra Puddle Lamp Dim

A few years ago I purchased the wire harnesses from PGAMBOA for the front doors to install heated, folding, puddle lamp mirrors.  All of that has worked great.  However, I am seeing the puddle lamp on the passenger side is very dim while the driver side is very bright.  I had issues with the passenger mirror folding so I replaced it and even that puddle lamp is dim.  Anyone have any suggestions of what I could check other than replacing the puddle lamps?  I will have to confirm everything inside the door is completely plugged in as well.

 

I tried to get in touch with Phil (PGamboa) but it says he cannot receive messages.

Check the door and body ground.

tYeah, I would check the truck connector to make sure it's getting good power and ground, and then apply power/ground to the right pins on the mirror connector and see how bright it is.  Maybe it's not getting good power/ground, maybe there's a problem with the light.

Maybe replace the bulb? They don't last forever, just an idea.
