Just wanted to share this about my truck. Hopefully it can help someone.

Transmission temperature after about 35 minutes of city driving is at 117 degrees. I live in Vegas and the temperature outside is currently 49 degrees. I have a newly rebuilt transmission with a billet torque converter. I got a tune right after the rebuild. Also had a PPE trans pan installed with the rebuild which holds an extra 1.5 quarts. I have the trans thermostat bypass. I have an external cooler as well. I also just installed an all aluminum Cold Case radiator since my year old radiator decided to develop a small crack. I just installed a 160 thermostat and retuned it for the fans to come on sooner. This thing is dialed in. Can’t wait to see how everything works this July when it’s 115 degrees outside and I’m towing my machines on the freeway at 80 mph. I threw every trick in the book at this thing.
