2" drop vibration

have a 04 denali pick up . after installing a belltech 2" drop shackel and a 2* wedge .i now have a low speed shudder. i have the thick end of the wedge facing the front. whats the fix? take the shim out? turn it around? or a thicker shim? help :rolleyes:

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. It sounds like it could have something to do with the wedge giving you the wrong pinion angle. If the axle was raised to give you a drop, the differential pinion should point downward slightly. To do this, the thick end should be in the back. This should line the driveshaft up correctly reducing the vibration in the u-joints.

I have a Silverado SS with 2" shackles and a 2* shim. I have the shim with the fat part at the back and (FINALLY!!!) have no vibration. I struggled for a while with a vibration when I lowered also. The shim with the fat part to the rear fixed it for me. Another thing is if you are lowering the front. It seems as though anything more than 2" on the SS causes CV vibration, don't know how it is for a SD though. Just another thing to remember. Hope you get it worked out.
