spark plugs

2000 tahoe, w/ 5.3 and almost 50k miles. checked out one of the spark plugs and i think they need to be changed. the thing is that i dunno exactly which way to go. ive heard mostly bad about the bosch +4 plug, so i was goin to avoid them. then i was considering goin with an autolite copper plug, b/c they offer better performance, but they dont last as long. i hate to go buy the ac delco platinums for 6 bucks if the copper plugs are better. i really dont mind changing them every so often, just wanna make sure i get the rite plugs.

AC Delco Platinum only, sorry.

You put copper in that engine, and you're gonna think that you are driving a 4 cylinder!!

NGK TR55's!!!!! Ive been runing them ever since the cam. Never had any problems either. Most of my friends run the TR55's. Wether it be in a truck or f-body. Those with N20 run the NGK TR6. If your really big on the precious metal plugs. NGK makes the TR55-IX Iridium plugs. About as expensive as the stock platinums.

Your plugs lasted for 50,000 miles? I wouldn't even question the choice. You can put the platinums in and no worries for another 50,000. Check out GMPARTSDIRECT. For my truck a set is $41 bucks to my door.
