Ahh, i give up. More problems

This sucks. Now i have to take my truck to the dealers, YET AGAIN!

Today i found that the inner front right fender well, has a small soft skirt attached to the rear. That skirt is cracked and looks like shnits. Also i saw that the drivers ext cab window rubber is cracked for the THIRD time. Thats 5 ext cab windows i'm going to have gone though on this thing.

:(Since dealers do not show parts pricing for warrenty work, all i know is how much the labor hours are. They have done 102 hours of warrenty labor work on my truck, totaling up to (using the ?/hour the dealership would have charged me otherwise) over ? , JUST IN WARRENTY LABOR WORK! I can't imagine what the parts would have cost!

For those who are dumb founded how i could have this much work done on my truck, here an incomeplete list...

1-- five ext windows

2--two repacement seat mechinsims

3--two whole main fuse relays

4--blower motor

5--window wiper wires, motors and fuses(X2)

6--loose trackbar(repack, and install)

7--two auto shiftlever boots

8--And the KING- Reweld on BOTH doors, repaint, and then FOUR more appointments just to get them to close right, and seal.

Just kidding.You'd think that at least one of those reoccurring problems could be classified as a lemon law case.

BTW,you forgot about the oil lines.

Oil lines! I knew i forgot something. Another days work. So many problems, so little brain room! :biggrin:

Lemon, i wish. They need to be "major safety" related problems. All mine are is a bunch of little "annoy the piss outta me" problems! LOL

I know how you feel mervz my dad has a 2000 silverado been back to the dealer i dont know how many times recalls had the back window fixed 3 times finally they replaced then about 2 months ago somebody hit the passenger side door and they never said anything about it ? dallors in damage. Man whats next.

I feel your pain. It took me about 18 months and countless trips to different dealers befor I got my 99 ext cab Serria straightened out. Keep at it.

Wow! I thought the silverado was bad with all of the trips to the dealer and the 6-7 recalls on it..

Hey,

Well actually we were sent 5 of notices about the recalls.. Plus its been in the shop 3 times because the right lower door speaker rattles horribly.. It was in the shop at Xmas for 3 weeks because of a accident..

All the rest of the times have been little things like u-joints, noises, etc..

We had no regrets on the truck since most of the work we didnt have to pay for *good ol' warrantee*

That truck still was the best truck we ever owned *next to the K5 Blazer.. *

It will be turning the 100000K mark soon and the truck ran as great as it did when we bought it..

I would, but i like these people. Its just the dang truck. Not their fault. There good enough, we even trust my fathers vette with them! :o Well... almost. :biggrin:

Man, you really need to get a girlfriend, a job or maybe both. Cause you got WAY too much time on your hands if you take your truck back to the dealer for that. LOL ;)
