Boyd Coddington Wheels

I'm really interested in getting some Boyd Coddington 3/4 ton wheels for my 2500HD. They look like really nice wheels, and I especially like his Hot Rod 8 design. The wheels are rated at 3200 pounds, so that seems pretty strong to me. For some reason, I like his designs the best of any wheel I've looked at so far.

 

Any input on these, other than being pretty pricey?

Make sure who ever you buy them from doesn't give you knock offs. My dad bought some a couple of years back, and the first time he washed the truck, the crome plating started to flake off. Called the store he bought them from, and they were gone. Turns out the centercaps were genuine, but the wheels weren't. Ouch........

After watching a few episodes of American Hotrod, I would remove anything that says Boyd Coddington from anything I owned. He used to be well respected, but I think this show is gona sink him. The program shows too much of how untalented and disfunctional the company is.

I agree about the show putting them in a bad light, it seems as if everyone on that show is an idiot and no common sense, its amazing the stuff they build even works.
