I think it depends on the color of the vehicle. I like the lettering on a black truck, but not so much on different colors. Your thoughts?

I'd agree, depends on color. My current tires are the first ones I've had black out, no choice, they are directional tread pattern. I like the look of black out on my color truck. Alot depends on the way the lettering looks, BFG, Dueler's, are some of the better looking lettering on the tires, IMO. IMO, Michelin's one of the worst. To each his own though! Chris

I just got some BF G's installed today, and the people said "We can only install them correctly - which means white letters facing outward." Whatever that means, who cares! Truck looks great; and my 02 is Burgundy.

I too think it depends of color. The darker trucks I think look better with whites out lighter color trucks just look better to me with all black tires.

Why trucks/suvs have more raised whites then cars... I guess that for the most part modern cars are either low profile wearing sports cars or more higher profile family type cars. Older muscle car era cars had higher profile tires so the white letters were more popular... make sense??? Just my opinion and we all know what opinions are like.

I prefer all black on any vehicle, esp. My black '02 Z71. Having said that, when I purchase my new Revo's in the next month or so, I will be putting them on white letters out. It appears that they do not offer a black walled Revo tire and I hate seeing the lettering on the inside of the tires...

Got to be black out! Because the first time you slide into a rut or I guess its curbs if you are a city only truck, the white letters look terrible all scratched up.
