Leaky Evaporator Core

Anyone ever change out an evaporator core? Mine leaks and causes a slow drip inside my cab when the AC runs for a long time.

If the AC system were leaking freon it wouldn't last for long, it would stop cooling. Usually what you see is water that "sweats" off of the evaporator core and builds up in the housing, and all that needs to be done is clean or blow out the drain in the bottom of the housing. It's easy to do yourself or a cheap fix if you bring it in to a shop. In the engine compartment, reach under the evap housing and you'll feel a ( not sure which one is on your vehicle) rubber flap, hose or mabye just a hole. Try to clear it out with a small screwdriver or something that won't damage anything. Try to get whatever is clogging it to fall out and not get pushed back inside. Good luck
