Finally boosted!!!

well, finally got all the lil leaks and crap taken care of. took the truck for a drive, still drives normal, thank GOD!!! but, im not gettin full boost at all. first of all, the fmu is not tuned.

 

Those procharged, about how many turns on the FMU is it suppose to be at??? at least for where i want it to be.

 

Second, i think the BOV is acting up, b/c at idle, air is comin outta that thing at a steady rate, when i rev the engine, air is comin outta that thing like theres no tomorow...is it suppose to do that? i thought it doesn't? otherwise, all i need to do now, is redo the boost guage light wires, install a tranny temp gauge and cooler, and the fuel pressure gauge...

 

give me some tips on the tuning and the BOV problem.

Hey,

I don't know how blow off valves work with superchargers but I'm guessing its probably the same as turbos. When I tuned my friends Rx7 blow off valve all we had to do was tighten a nut at the end of it to stiffen the spring and get it to hold more boost. I'm sure theres something like that on yours too so take a look and good luck.

PS - That also might be why your not holding full boost because all the pressure is leaking out through there.
