Replacement Arm Rest

I have a 01 SLT. I have the 6 way gray leather seats. The arm rest on the drivers set is cracking where my elbow sit.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Does anyone have a suggestion on where and how to replace either the cover or the whole arm rest?

As far as how to get it off...I once heard that if you rotated the arm rest up and then either pushed in, or was it pull out on it?, it would rotate further back and come off...I've never tried it myself...

 

Maybe another member has an idea...

To get the armrest off , you have to remove seatback cover and remove a retain

er and remove at clip that holds the armrest pin inplace on seat back frame,, I have like new passenger side seat armrest that is neutral in color came out of

02 sub.
