I have a '04 Suburban with stabiltrack and I remember reading somwhere it has an open diff., or that a posi was not available with stabiltrack.

Thanks, it does. I was curious because it didn't say on the window sticker. I wish I had gotten the same rear (3.73) in my sierra (3.42 open).
