C6 Blue Devil to be 700HP!!!

My dad just got back from the US and brought me a new hd and some magazines. 1 magazine is a motortrend with a small article/update about the C6 blue devil. It says ther current test motor is a 7.0L LS2 with 700-725hp!!! There trying to get the car under 3000lbs and pricing will be $100K!!!!

I have a scanner but cant find adapter in the shipment... So here is a digi pic... (this is leal right?)

All i can possible say to Chevy enthusiats on this website is its a GO. but this motor might be in a ummm lets say in a CoughSilveradoCough, Challenger to the Ford SVT Lighting and Dodge SRT-10. Ford....Dodge watch out for the Bowtie

I saw something about that a couple weeks ago but I can't remember any specs. The only thing car and driver could say is that the new C-6 is still being tested but was sure to be the dominating force in tis class. My uncle is anxious to trade in his 03 vette as soon as this monster is released to the public. I hope I get a ride...I think the shortened it by like 5 or 6 inches as well as narrowing it by 3 or 4 inches. that should help in the weight reduction. I'm pretty sure the one I saw was more like in the 4-500HP range still capable of smoking a viper from what I understand But was more affordable around 38-45,000 i think. either way this is huge and I hope everything I saw is true and not just GM's pipe dream I'll be keeping an eye open

We were never weak in the performance area, so far three and a possible fourth engine is being built but im not allowed to explain until the bargo act is lifted in the up coming years when the real competition begins. Until then a Legend is going to be reborn and i think you guys know what im talking about!

Nobody at GM is allowed to talk about the Camaro. But if I have been keeping up with my reading I believe it will be brought back in 2007. No firebird though.

If the Camaro does get "reborn" I hope they go back to the Z28 being the top dog like it was to start with. On another board, someone wrote that a Frame manufacturer for the Corvette just produced 14 or 16 all Aluminum Corvette C6 frames for GM. This could go a long ways to reduce weight! Chris
