Anyone replace their coil wires yet?

Various places have aftermarket like MSD wires you can get for your truck. Summit, Jegs, plus check the preferred venders on here.

I don't see the need to unless your running higher compression, supercharger, or just feel like changeing them out and have the extra cash to spend.

Some might say different.

Didn't have the extra cash to spend, but went with MSD 8.5's for the heck of it...they look cool. The stockers are more than sufficient though.

After 4 years and 80,000 miles, I replaced all the plugs and wires with OE AC Delco parts. Idle's much better (smoother) and seems to be more responsive than before. Then again, how much was the wires vs the plugs is anybody's guess. The plugs looked "OK" for 80,000 miles but they sure were used.
