tire pressure for 285's?

im getting 285's soon and was wondering, what tire pressure should be, any suggestions?

Alot depends on what load range tire you are getting. Load range D I would start around 40 psi and load range E I would start around 50 psi.

My Brigestones take 65psi

i run mine at 52 or 55. Have been at 52 lately.

  Mine suprised me the other day and did it. It`s hot down here now. It only did it once. But, it will usually do it after sitting overnight in the colder weather. Never usually does it in the warmer weather.

  MJM 1957 Thank you for your reply ! How often does the oil pump need to be primed .? So far I only notice this noise when the truck has been sitting overnight . Is there a length of time the truck sits before it will make that noise and do the prime again ?

  What issues are the 3.0 diesel facing? When I bought mine all my research showed the diesel was the engine most likely to be worry-free, if you use the right oil and only use top tier gas.

  I'm thinking of getting a Scan Gauge or whatever you call that instrument to mount in the above truck to see all the information while you are driving . Because our truck is a Custom Trim Level to see Fuel Consumption , Transmission Temp etc. I need to turn the little knob on the instrument panel and rotate it to search . Not the best when driving down the road in my opinion What one are you fellas using ? What is a good make to purchase for the truck ? Thank you !
