tire size

that i can mount on a suburban. mine is an 1988 2wd Scottsdale. its a 3/4 ton too. i'm just trying to determine the biggest tire that will mount up to the stock rims(16x5 i think. i know they're 8 lug) and also will not rub the wheelwells. thanks in advance!

i tried tirerack, and all they listed was the stock size and the optional factory size. i also did a search and all i could really find was info on the new gm trucks. i'm just curious as to whats the maximum size that will fit in those wheelwells. i remember my cherokee before a lift would take 30x9.5 and the suburban has much bigger wheelwells,lol.
