Rattle on lower left windshield

2001 2500HD 8.1 ally it has a rattle right outside the lower left windshield that I did not here when I test drove it. It is very annoying any help would be great

Check the plastic cowl trim. Try to wiggle it with the hood up.

Also, check the hood hinges for excessive slop or wear.

The dealer took care of this for me free of charge, sent me to a windshield place and the glued the molding around the window better, stopped the noise. Also the little plastic/rubber flaps over the hood hinges can flutter so I tied them to the hinges with a zip tie.
