Today i was at my gf's.  Was raining all day.  We were putting up some halloween decorations.  Then her mom said my mom was on the phone ( i am thinking oh no) well she said it just hailed there (5 min from where i am at).  Sky was nasty blue.  Then it started pouring.  Guess what came next.  Hail.  All i could do was watch it bounce off my truck like mexican jumping beans.  Luckily they were to big and it didnt last long.  Didnt even look yet to see if there are any dents but i am guessing there arent

My friend went camping 2 weekends ago and parked his truck under an Oak tree.  He ended up with $1600 in acorn damage....

Hey, it was hailing by my house too yesterday.  Around 5 pm or so.  I was helping my cousin work on making some custom sub boxes for his bonneville.  Luckily we were able to pull all of the tools and wood in before it hit.  The truck and cars didn't suffer any damage, the hail was no bigger than the rain drops.  Although I did get to throw a snowball....  Well, kinda.

Happened to me once while driving.  Hail the size of marbles (and getting bigger) and wind about 50MPH.  Sounded like boulders hitting my (then new) Trans-Am.  Luckily, I was on a road with lots of houses.  I found the first house with an empty carport and pulled in.  Fortunately, no damage.  I left a note on the door thanking the owners for NOT being home that day.

Yeah, I know what you mean!  Happened to me once when I had my Dakota, hail coming down the size of them 25 cents gun balls.  Luckily for me, the doki was parked under a tree.  Unfortunantly a friend of mine truck wasn't.  Got dinged up pretty good (his truck, not mine).

Anyhows, there are places that supposedly are able to pop the dents right out if the paint wasn't damaged (chipped/cracked).  How well they disappear, I can't tell you.

That happened to us when we were visiting in VA. We decided to pull in for the night at a hotel and all of a sudden you hear CRACK CRACK CRACK and you could see the stuff on the hood and windsheild so we pulled under there walkway and then it just came crashing down.. We were so lucky that we decided to pull of the highway for the night at that time because this stuff was horrible to hear it bouncing off people's cars..

Good thing to hear that your truck made it through okay ryan!!

Its nice to know I don't have to worry about that kind of stuff.  Over the summer I was over at a buddies, and we had a pretty bad hail storm, probably about the size of quarters.  Lasted for atleast 10 minutes.  My truck was parked out in the open, so it got pounded.  To my suprise there wasn't a dent to be found.       Must have some tough sheetmetal or something.
