TRANNY COOLER

Do 2500 HD's come with a transmission cooler as std. equipment? I have a 2001 2500 HD (6.0) and was curious about the exclusion/inclusion of a tranny cooler. If they do come with a cooler as std. equipment, are they of any value or undersized?

I'll check my sticker. I've got an 01 8.1L HD/Allsion. I'm guessing it's like everything else offered by the manufacturer, part of a some kinf of package, towing package or something like that. I'll take a look at my sticker and see if I can discern.

No mention what so ever of the transmission cooler in the standard or optional equipment sections of my window sticker. Sorry.

Pretty sure all automatics have their own cooler. When you order the towing package you also get an aux cooler. So technically you have two.

2 sections to a auto trans radiator, 1 part cools the water/coolant, the other cools the tranny fluid, tow package equipped trucks normally have an aux cooler just inb front of the radiator.
