'01 4.3 vortec rocker adjustment

i have 2001 vortec heads with the roller fulcrum rockers and cant seem to get the adjustment correct. how do i do this?

 

this is for a 4.3 v6

There is no adjustment. You just tighten the rocker arm bolts down. 22 lb. ft. if I recall correctly.

do you know if the pushrods on a 2000+ motor are shorter?

 

i have '01 vortec heads on a carbed 91 block and when i went to torque them down, it bent the pushrods.

Hmmm, a 1991 *might* require adjustment. I don't recall. I'll see if I can dig up a '91 service manual at work.
