What's the correct steering wheel position relative to the driver? shouldn't it be dead in the center? I notice my Sub steering wheel is about 1 inch to the right of the center of the seat. Not really bugging me, but wonder if that's the way it's supposed to be. Anyone noticed this in their vehicle?

Ya. I notice it in almost all the vehicles I've driven, no matter what brand. It's a clearance thing I believe. Gives you a little more elbow room on the left side of the wheel for making turns, reaching the dash controls, turn signal lever, door buttons, etc... (just a guess on my part though). It doesn't really bother me, but it's off center enough that it's noticed, that's for sure. My '85 El Camino was like that. My '82 GMC was like that. Our Ford Enconoline van at work is like that. My mom's Toyota Camery is like that big time! Heck, even my '78 Honda Civic was like that. I could go on.
