time to buy a gas cap lock?

I just thought about this when I filled my truck up with $50 of gas. With the price of gas near $3.00 I was wondering if people would start siphoning gas out of peoples cars. A truck would be an ideal target because of the large tanks.

Looks like the right cap. Not a bad price either. $22.86. Probably wouldn't hurt to get one. Doesn't look like the price of gas is ever going to come down. Although my truck spends most of it's time in the garage and the Jetta is my daily driver.

Oregon law prohibits drivers from fueling up their own cars. So then you have to deal with giving the key to the attendent. Glad I have a big street light above my vehicles. But who knows - someone could come empty my tanks and that would be like a $100 in gas.
