Tailgate lock

I just ordered a lund tonneau cover, and I'd like to be able to keep everything locked up. I've seen several brands of tailgate locks online, I'd like to get some info from anybody that's using one on how well it works or doesn't. Thanks

Although it will probably fit okay on your '98, a Pop&Lock didn't fit for crap on my '03. They were helpful and sent me another one, but it fits half-fast too.

I'd give P&L an A for customer service, a D for engineering.

I got one, I think it's made by Bully. I LOVE IT! It took about 15mins to install, and works perfect! The tailgate handle still looks completely stock, but there's a keyhole underneath the handle. The kit includes the locking mechanism and a factory identical trim piece, that replaces the existing one.

Thanks for the info on those two, I'm leaning towards the bully. It's cheaper, but more importantly it looks a lot better, fitment wise. I didn't really like the way the Pop & Lock looked in the picture I saw. I think I'll be getting a pretty good deal, a Lund Tri-fold Tonneau cover, Bully tailgate lock, and a free tailgate seal for $366 shipped.

I have a pop n lock on mine and like it. Haven't really used it yet since I haven't gotten a tonneau yet.

I have a Bully and couldn't be happier. I wanted the Pop-N- Lock when I got my Access Cover but my installer would not even sell me one as he said that I would not be happy with it.
