Help with NAV Install

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I have read thru the 30 some pages of the Nav install thread and i am now MORE confused than when I started. I will try and explain my situation... I am trying to find the part number of the nav head unit that will be almost plug and play, I do not want the external cd changer, all I want is the nav, onstar, xm and steering wheel controls to work, I dont want to mess with changing the amps or any of that. Is this possible?

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500hd LT, it has the bose/6 disc system, but I could not find the y91 option on the glove box.

Please help.

Jesse

Unfortunately I can't help you with the nav radio part number for your amp situation, I forgot those numbers long ago.

However, whenever you get the right radio for whatever amp'ed application you have, the radio will know that you have Onstar, XM and steering wheel controls. All of those items are plug and play.

if you have the UQ7, which i'm sure you do, the 15229287 will work on your truck.
