Avalance deals?

Recommended Posts

I really don't know what the demand is like for the AV in other parts of the country, but here in Texas the truck has gone over like a lead balloon. The dealer near my house probably has 50 just sitting there collecting dust, If anyone is interested Texas is the place to try and but one.

I know everyone has the right to their own opinion, but I really do not understand this truck, what is so appealing about it?

Have you driven one?  They have the best ride of any full size truck or suv out there............except maybe the escalade ext.........: )  Plus cold beer coolers built into the side walls.  After 10 hours of laying roof nothing beats going to your truck and pulling a 12 pack from the iced walls.

GM sure seems to be selling a lot of them.  Maybe texas is just too red neck to stray from the average every day pick up?  If it wasn't for Hennesey Motor Sports and Cheer Leaders I wouldn't want to have anything to do with Texas.

I have really loved my Avalanche.  It just like having a 'Burb and a pick up at the same time.  Although you do have to add bigger wheels and tires, the stock 245's that came on my truck did make the truck look ridiculous.  I'm also guessing that GM will soon figure out that they can pick up some extra customers if they decide to paint the plastic cladding.  I'm sure their are a lot of people that would like the plastic painted while not having to spend another $15,000 for the Escalade.

The 340 h/p is also a nice extra.
