295/75R16

[Valsport]

I've been looking for some 295's next time around to replce my 285 bfg's. The only companies making a 295/75R16 that I have found are BFG and Nitto. Does anyone know if anybody else makes this size?

BFG is owned by Michelin, if that helps. I searched, and came up with the same.

I went to tirerack and did a search but it only came up with the BFG.

Based on my limited and very biased knowledge...Tirerack sucks for searching. Seem to be a good place to shop once you know what you want though.

 

Call your local Discount Tire, or Tires Plus and ask them. I bet you'll find a couple more brands.

 

I've had nothing but bad luck with BFG's, so somebody would have to cut me a smoking deal to put them on my truck. And by "smoking deal" I really mean "free".

I know General makes a LT295/75R16 because we just had a Ford Excursion in the body shop and thats what the guy had on it.

I had to get one for a replacement,It was a Grabber AT/2,It had a real nice tread pattern to it,But I agree with everyone else,I would go with the BFG's.
