Vents

I was cleaning the truck the other day and noticed alot of dirt and bugs in the defroster vents in the dash. ??? How do yall clean these vents?? I can't figure out how!

where exactly on the dash   all the vents on the front and side of the dash pop out with a flat blade screwdriver or knife,   it's the ones at the top where the windshield is  they can't come off so ya probably can't get much down in them to clean em.

Try a ShopVac with a narrow tip on it. You might have to make something to go over the end of the tip that is flexible enough to reach the vents at the base of the windsheild. Just a thought.

Did ya try Q-tips?? Sure it may take forever, but they get into small places really well.  Other then that idea, which is dumb i'm sure, I dunno...

That aint so dumb, just make it a bigger Q-tip, coat hanger or solid vinyl electrical wire and twist some paper towel around it with some windex or 409.  With the electrical wire you could bend the tip around the towel to it doesn't drop off, same with the hanger but it's just harder to bend.  But then again maybe I'm just a dumb or dumber LOL
