I'm looking into getting some new headlight and bumper lights for the front end of my 02 silverado. I see projector lights on ebay clear and black ones. Anyone have anypics of these on the truck. Preferrably a dark truck(mines that very dark green color). Also any other pics with different headlights would be appreciated.

thanks.

I bought the black projector headlights off of ebay. I will post a picture of them when I get home. I ran into a ton of problems with these lights though, and they might not be the way to go for you.

But these are the problems I ran into...

The wiring for the headlights is cake, doesnt take too long with little knowledge to do as they are just two wires to splice into. I hooked the LED lights up to my turn signals, but I had to hook the halos to my headlights as they would blink if I hooked them up to anything else.

As for the projectors I really was not pleased. It says on the listing that you can use stock bulbs in these housings... wrong answer. When they came in the mail I was going to put my silverstars in the projectors, but come to find out instead of using 9006 for the lows, they used H3 bulbs with connectors to fit into my 9006 wiring harness. The brights on the other hand still use the 9005 bulbs. I am still in the works to modify the projectors so they will fit the 9006 bulbs. The problem being that the hole for the H3 bulbs is too small for the 9006s to fit in there. Oh, and I also had to switch out the mounting bracket from my stock housings with the new ones, because the driver side projector would not sit flush with the truck and would touch the hood. And that also made the light alignment really really off.

But all in all the headlights look really nice, they just dont have the performance I was expecting. It makes it really hard to see the road at night with those tiny H3 bulbs. So when I figure out a way to use the 9006 bulbs I will let you know. I am also thinking about buying stock foglights or something along those lines for now so I can at least see the road ahead of me, lol. I was also looking into the Nokya Hyper White bulbs because they are 100 watts instead of the 50 I have, hopefully it works for me. I hope I have been of some help for you. Here are two pictures for you, tell me if you need anymore.

They look nice, but i cannot have a h3 bulb for dimms. I need to be able to see at night. I'm glad you let me in on that. Saved me some money and aggravation.
