I have a 2005 Avalanche with just over 200 miles on it. When I turn on the headlights (manually or automatic) the Radio, Climate control, Gear selector and DIC remain bright. If I use the dimmer wheel I can dim the whole dash including the mentioned items. According to the manual the radio should dim when the headlights are on. The dealer had to replace the low beam headlights due to them burning out when the truck was jumpstarted. Could something have been damaged? Could the computer need to be reprogrammed? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. The dealer has now idea what could be wrong.
