Lift: I want to level it out first so i was looking into cranking my torsion bars. However, i came accross something that suggested that i should replace them with these http://www.suspensionmaxx.com/index.html . Any opinions.,...I am not interested in getting a suspension lift...yet haha

Tires : I was thinking about some 33 inch A/T's ... i have heard that without a suspension lift i cant go any bigger than 33. Any sugestions?

Running lamps: I want to put the orange HD Set of marker lamps on my roof...they are about $75...How do i install them (ie do i just drill away in my roof?)

CB Radio: I have a Cobra 29NW massive radio in my suburban...but for my silverado i want one that is smaller so i can fit it in the consoll. As for the antenna i will probably go with a 38" whip...Any suggestions?

Billet Grille: Ebay overlay grille

Bed Cover: I am thinking about going with a Tonneau Tri-Fold cover...any body have any opions on that?

Exhaust: Dual Rear exit exahust...i am not sure which company to go with here..there are so many options...Flowmaster, Gibson, Borla....... I reallly need help here....i am looking for a nice throaty sound but i do not want a loud interior resonance..HELP

Step-Up Bars: Not sure where i am going with these but the girl friend REALLY wants them so she can get up in the truck easier(especially after i get a little lift)

Other Questions: Roll Bar? (worth it?) 4-high kit? Programmer? Air Intake?

Thanks a lot guys!!! if you have anything else just send me an email [email protected]

I like the grill idea, step bars and EXHAUST.

I just put a new Zoomer's Stainless Cat back system on my truck and love it. No interior resonance or drone at all. Zoomer's is now a sponsor and a good deal is getting ready to come about. Here is the link to pictures and a sound clip of the new exhaust.ZOOMERS

Those "cams" they talk about are just torsion bar keys off of a Ford 1/2 ton truck.

You can pick them up from a Ford dealer for a LOT less than what they're selling them for.

Haha if i would have known that i would never have even brought that link in here....are there any downsides to cranking the stock torsion keys i have now?

You'll get 20 different answers from 14 different people on that topic.

Mine have been cranked for...Coming up on 3 years now. No problems.

Other people have things go wonky on them.

It's also going to stiffen your ride. Longer shocks help a LOT, but don't totally get rid of the harsh ride.

If you have the cash, get a Westers tune for your PCM. What a difference! Get minimal torque management ... there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of how great my truck is now thanks to that Westers tune.

I guess I am gonna have to do that Wester's thing soon to add to my Zoomer's exhaust. Is "minimal torque management" good for towing? I want a tune that will run on the lower octane(89) fuel and be good for towing.
