Code 43 ESC Module

Recommended Posts

I have a 1995 Chevy K1500 Suburban 5.7L, recently it started throwing error codes 43 and 32. I've replaced the EGR which fixed the 32 and also replaced the knock sensor in an attempt to fix the 43. But as soon as I shift into reverse/drive it immediately gives me the SES light with error code 43.

In reading it seems this can be the ECS Module also, but this is where I get stumped. All the manuals I have looked in state this should be located by the TBI and seems to be a flat item with a plug for a 5 pin connector. I have absolutely nothing of the sort anywhere visible that I can see.

Am I looking in the wrong place? Or were some 95's similar to 96's where I understand this knock sensor is a part of the main ECM Module? My ECM Module has a code BJYL on it if that helps.

TIA for anyone's help.

Nevermind found the answer to the problem myself. The overwhelming response was [sarcasm on]utterly amazing though. [/sarcasm off] Good luck to others trying to find it.
