MAF sensors

Is there a difference in the MAF sensors used on the 5.3 and 8.1, also are they year specific? I'm putting an aluminum 5.3 into a 65 'vette and need to collect some parts. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not an actual GM tech or anything, but I would say they are definately different, the 8.1 would need more airflow than the 5.3 and would not jive with the computer

found the answer last night on another site. Both used 85mm MAF.
