i just got my hands on a 650 CFM Holley 4165. i installed it in place of the P.O.S. Q-Jet, took it out for a drive, found out that my power brakes are gone. i couldn't seem to draw a vacume. i talked to the guy that i bought the Holley from and he told me that it was originaly on a mid 70's model Corvette that drew vacume off the intake manifold. my question is: how is the back vacume port plugged, and can it be unplugged? if not, is there someway to get vacume off of an intake manifold of a 454? i cant seem to find any existing ports. thanks again.

The port can be blocked from factory, I forget in which way they can be blocked. Just find the intake manifold port, probly behind the carb, you will need a tee fitting or 2 and a a coupler that allows you to increase the hose size to the brake booster.
