anyone bought, or tried this? Theory sounds great, and even if it gave a .5mpg increase it would pay for itself in ...... 1.18 tanks of gas. Looking to see if anyone has tried this....

Nope dont waste your money on none of that junk,they had a bunch of that mpg increasers junk on mythbusters tv show last week and none of it worked including the tornado for the air cleaner and I read somewhere the guy who marketed it is in court for false advertisment.

I'm a service tech for a plumbing company in southwestern Ohio. That being said I've heard of ionization of water particles to take minerals out for softening water,...applying that knowledge to fuel I dont' see MAGNETS ionizing gas!

 

ANOTHER RULE OF THUMB IS, IF IT'S ON EBAY, LAUGH AT IT, SHOW IT TO FRIENDS AND ON FORUM'S,...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

 

I've seen the Tonadoe around since the mid - late 80's and it works for PLUMBING once again,..so theoretically it would work for engines BUT, it's only good if there's a straight in shot from outside air to inside the motor! Also, it's not going to give a noticeable increase.

I don't know if any of you watch Mythbusters, but on one episode, they tested different ways of getting better gas mileage and they said that they got no improvement with magnets.
