Well, since your topic about how you did with your steer at the state fair disappeared, I'm going to start a new one.  I was just wondering what breed of steer you have?  I personally think that Brahman's look the best, especially the calves and bulls.  They aren't very common around here though, and I don't much care to be around the cows any time they have calves around.

It was also nice to hear that the judge from Kansas State University made a good impression.

This one was a Simmental, first one we've had.  He is a black calf with a white head and white stocking legs, pretty cool looking.  Most of my cows are Chi-Angus or Maine Anjou, while the majority of my dads are Angus.  Only place I've ever seen a Brahman is in Denver at the stock show there.  Our cows can be wild enough as it is, last thing we need is a little of that influence in them.
