Looking for suggestions on grounding points. I added an amplifier and it buzzes like crazy. I do not want to get into testing interference and OHMS. Where do you guys have your add ons grounded?

Thx.

If you mounted the AMP in the backseat area of an extended cab, use the bolts that hold the seat to the floor. They are larger bolts and make excellent grounds.

That is where I have it now. It is real noisy. I know it is not bare metal underneath the bracket(probably why it is buzzing). I am looking for suggestions before I start sanding away at the floor.

Not bare metal under the bracket? U mean over or under the carpet? If nothing else pick up the carpetting and use a grinder to get to bare metal. I didn't have a problem grounding there. But then again, I didnt ground speaker type accessories. Good luck.

That shouldn't matter since the bolts themselves are mounted to the bare metal. As long as the ground is touching the bolt, there shouldn't be any problem. Make sure that there isn't any paint or anything else on the bolt that's interfering with the connector making contact. Also, make sure that if you're using a crimped on connector that it's crimped correctly.
