This afternoon I finally eclipsed the 200,000 mark. Looking forward to another 200,000.

Picture kinda sucks though...

Another thing I notcied. The two didn't completely roll over until like 200,005. It was like it was slow or something. Anyone else have this problem?

Pretty cool, who knows...maybe I'll win one of the spots in the Chevy contest.

Congrats! As far as the odo not rolling over, I remember my OBS doing a similar thing when I hit 100k. The effect may be increased with increasing mileage, I wouldn't be too worried if thats the only problem you've got on a truck with 200k miles =). There's a thread over on FSC.com on how to 'adjust' OBS odometers.. you could always straighten it out next time :driving:.

Anyway, here's to 200k!

Congrats as well. Go to the home page of GM-Trucks, GM is looking for Silverado owners that have reached the 200k mark.

Chevrolet Announces the Search for 200,000+ Mile Silverados Is posted on the home page about half way down.

Not trying to stir the pot here but, noticed there's a ton out there with the 4.3's that are over 200K and doesn't seem to be too many V8's ??

Congrats!

For those up North, that would be 320000kms....very rare for any vechicle where road salt is used frequently in the winter times.

I had a 91 S10 4.3 4x4 that had 375,000km on it when I sold it in 1997. All orginal. Only things I did to it, regular oil every 3 to 5000 kms, 1 water pump and an altenator.

Tranny went in for O rings beacuse of a leak but no other sevice.

My 97 Seirra that I sold a few months ago had over 360,000 kms and is still running strong (5.0 305 2wd) as my uncle bought it.

Thanks a lot fellas.

Yea I registered for the 200k mile club yesterday afternoon. There are quite a bit of 4.3s breaking the barrier, but on the website you can read stories of other owners and there are lots of V8s as well.

The best ten stories posted by owners will win a 3 night stay in Dallas during the State Fair. Chevy is holding an event for 200k mile owners in which the 2008 trucks will be unvieled. I'd really like to go, but I don't know how big of an event it will be. I havnt' heard much talk about it.

Thanks again everyone. Even my girlfriend thought it was neat. It was raining yesterday in our area, but she made me drive down to Galveston Island with her so she could watch it roll over.
