1500HD Shocks

I have an 02 1500HD with about 70,000 miles on it. I'm looking for new shocks. I've used Edlebrock IAS shocks in the past and had really liked them for a smooth ride and good control.

 

I also have an 04 GMC Envoy with Bilstein shocks that rides great.

 

What would be a better choice? Or is there another option that I should consider. I tow a 5000 lb trailer and do carry some weight but mostly the truck is pretty empty.

No one has replaced their shocks and is happy with the results????

I've seen that alot of people have replaced their OEM shocks with Bilstein or Monroe and have been very happy with them.

 

I too, have tried the Edlebrock IAS when they were first intoduced and thought that they were very good. At the time, there were some people that were having problems with them leaking. I don't think that leakage is an issue now...

Bilsteins all the way. Great shocks that last a long time for not a ton of money.

I went with Monroe Reflex shocks. So far I am very happy with them and you can't beat the warranty.
